Masters Pet Grooming began in a small garage in Ascot Vale in 2014, born from the desire to provide exceptional care and respect for our beloved dogs in a grooming setting. Nick recognised a gap in the market for customers to confidently trust their groomer with the care of their dogs.

At MPG, we do not believe in caging any of our animals. Instead, we have created specially designed rooms we refer to as suites. See image below

In 2016, MPG relocated to Point Cook and operated from our garage.

From the beginning, Nick received an overwhelming number of bookings from customers who wanted assurance that their cherished dogs were being cared for in the best way possible. Often, both humans and pets endure less-than-ideal experiences, leaving lasting impressions. Nick's mission has been to transform dogs' experiences from fearful to enjoyable or pleasant ones.

"It became clear that our customers expected excellence not only in care and support but also in the quality of our grooming". Fortunately, Nick's keen attention to detail and his skills as a hairdresser were well-honed before he began grooming clients' dogs.

Less than two years after going full-time, MPG was nominated for The Herald Sun's 'Best of Melbourne Series'. "We were thrilled to be nominated!" A few months later, MPG was ranked among the Top 10 Best Groomers in Melbourne, securing the 8th position, which left us "absolutely amazed and excited".
